Last year was a dud. The first round this year was a dud until the Big Ten livened things up at the very end with a 2OT thriller in which 9 Siena squeaked by 8 Ohio State. Moments earlier 12 Wisconsin "upset" 5 FSU in OT in a battle between teams that lost to Northwestern this season. Perhaps after the game they swapped horror stories of their visits to Welsh-Ryan?
God how I've missed those times when CBS had to switch furiously back and forth between nail biters!
